Whren she tried to send it to me in Iceland, DHL told her that because it is liquid and a medical subject, it was not legal to send it because of covid. So we have to wait for a while to get this test done.

I see, thank you for the reply. I expect she will not get 100% Miao, that is most likely a benchmarking error from uploaded 3rd party data to 23Mofang. People from central China like Chongqing/Sichuan will have genetic affinity to Miao people since there is a high concentration of them along the central Yangtze river. You can try uploading her data to GEDMATCH.com and run the MDLP23b calculator for some higher resolution. I wouldn't be too stuck on her potentially being Miao especially if she was adopted from a vast Han majority area.

I am Cantonese, and I got nearly 50% Miao.  My ancestors were in Jiangxi and Putian, Fujian before migrating to Guangdong in the late Tang/Song dynasties.
